Word Among Us
To keep the subscription costs down for our Word Among Us we order the books in bulk. This allows us to order each book at the cost of $1 per book. We ask that you offer your donation to the collection basket or give it to the parish office.
These books are available at the church entrance.

Sacred heart capital campaignUpdate
- We are still at $5,678 pledged or 106% of the amount needed for our monthly payment of $5,335. 77 households (43%) have made pledges.
- Have you made your pledge or contribution? (We are tight and a little short on funds for needed add-ons.) If unable to make a financial contribution then let us know if you are available to help with smaller work projects to finish our building project. The parking lot is unfinished due to lack of funds.
- Let us all help to carry the load of funds needed for the completion of this beautiful and needed renovation and addition. We are thankful for those making extra gifts when they can.
- Note: The $10,000 Loan Pledge Challenge deadline has been extended to the fall supper.. We need only $320 more in monthly pledges and 31 additional households contributing to meet the challenge.
- Speakers for gathering space and family room are in and south stairway railing is or soon will be in. Also landscaping continues to be planned and carried out step by step.

Ways to Support You Parish
- Have Masses offered for friends or relatives, deceased or still living. Just drop a note in the collection basket, along with your donation; the usual amount is $5.00 / Mass. If this would be a financial hardship, please let me know, and I will be happy to offer one without a stipend.
- Offer Memorials in honor of your deceased loved ones to your parish’s building and maintenance fund, or to your parish cemetery.
- Leave a legacy gift to the parish in your will, or name the parish as the beneficiary of your retirement policy or life insurance plan.
At Sacred Heart, St. Mary's, and St. Philip's we offer a variety of ways to contribute to our Roseau Catholic Community. If you are interested in offering your time and/or talent, please visit our Councils/Ministries tab and see all the different ways you can volunteer to help. Our councils help direct our parish in its growth and to become a better version of itself. Our ministries help guide the parish throughout the Liturgical year. -

Commitment Sunday for 2020 Diocesan Annual Appeal (DAA)
Have you mad a commitment to the Diocesan Annual Appeal (DAA)? Consider our call to GOD PRAYER and SERVICE. If you have not made a commitment, please make your gift or pledge this weekend by using the mailing received at home or an in-pew envelop in your parish. You may make a one-time gift online or set up a sustaining gift by credit card or automatic withdrawal form your checking account over the course of 10 months. Sustaining gifts may be suspended at any time. Thank you for supporting your parish and diocesan ministries. Knights of Columbus- Pennies for Seminarians- Sacred Heart
There is a wall box in the church entrance at Sacred Heart marked “Pennies for Seminarians”. The KC Councils in Minnesota collect donations and loose change at their meetings for the support of seminarians. You are invited to join in this effort – possibly putting in some loose change or other donation into the box. If you collect actual pennies or loose change at home you may turn in the container or bag of coins or check to a KC member or the parish office.
