The 2021 National Day of Prayer observed at the Roseau Courthouse steps on May 6th at 5:15pm, an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Along with a couple of hymns, clergy and lay leaders from the Roseau area will be present to uplift short scripture readings and prayers. All are invited to join as community, gathered together in the presence of the One who delights in hearing our prayers and bringing us unity in Him. There will be some chairs but possibly bring your own.
